ESTEEM Dental Implants
About ESTEEM All-On-X Dental Implants Implant-Supported Full Arch Dentures
The ESTEEM system is a smarter method of placing implants that allows dentists to support a full arch restoration using just a few carefully placed dental implants. You won't need one implant per tooth - only as many as you need to keep your denture stable. Digital imaging can help us plan optimal implant position along the bone of the upper or lower jaw. Thanks to ESTEEM dental implants, a mouth can be fully rehabilitated, with a stability comparable to natural tooth roots.
Implant-Supported Dentures
ESTEEM implant-supported dentures bring missing tooth treatment to the next level. The "X" in "All-On-X" refers to the number of implants used. Each patient is different, so we'll use the right amount of implants for you to ensure a strong, healthy bite to support a natural-looking restoration.
Durable Custom Restorations
Long-lasting materials are used to create a custom appliance that fits comfortably along the upper or lower dental arch. Although all restorations must be replaced over time, these sturdy dentures are resistant to chips and cracks and can last for a decade or more with proper care.
Numerous Patient Benefits
The strategically placed ESTEEM implants anchor a denture in place while you are biting, chewing, and speaking. They also help prevent bone loss and gum recession, two common health problems caused by missing teeth. Additionally, the teeth and gumline look natural.
Candidates for ESTEEM Dental Implants Ideal All-On-X Tooth Replacement Patients
Extensive Tooth Loss
ESTEEM implants are ideal for people who have lost most or all of their teeth. Full implant-supported dentures can be used to replace the upper or lower teeth.Sufficient Bone Density
In order to enjoy successful results, patients must have enough healthy jawbone structure in which to anchor the implants. This allows implant posts to remain fully secured following oral surgery.Healthy Gums
Patients should have healthy gum tissue in order to reduce the risk of implant failure and post-op infections. Like the All-On-4 method, periodontal disease and gum recession must be treated before getting implants.Realistic Expectations
Before getting ESTEEM dental implants, we'll go over the risks, benefits, and costs associated with All-On-X treatment. Realistic expectations result in better patient satisfaction.

Sedation Options For ESTEEM All-On-X Dental Implant Surgery
Our practice offers sedation options that allow patients to feel comfortable undergoing All-On-X dental implant surgery and a host of other procedures. Some patients have their dental implants placed under a local anesthetic and oral sedation.
Others opt for the stronger alternative — intravenous (IV) sedation. IV sedation lets patients with dental anxiety take control of their oral health with confidence. Dr. Goldin is certified in IV sedation and will be happy to consult you on options that make the most sense for your circumstances.

View On GoogleFrequently Asked Questions About ESTEEM All-On-X Dental Implants
Whether you are waiting for your scheduled appointment or are gearing up to request a consultation to determine if you are a good candidate for All-On-4 or All-On-X implants, our team in Troy understands that you probably have many questions about this treatment.
Having served patients just like you for decades, we have provided answers to some of the most frequently asked questions regarding ESTEEM All-On-X dental implants to help you better understand what to expect.
Will the procedure be painful?
Before your surgery, we provide local anesthesia to numb the treatment area which works to eliminate virtually all pain. For full relaxation and comfort, IV sedation is also available upon request. You can keep any post-op discomfort at bay with over-the-counter (OTC) pain medication, cold compresses, and other solutions. Your dentist will explain what you can expect before your procedure.
Does dental insurance cover ESTEEM All-On-X dental implants?
Dental insurance will most likely contribute to the cost of your denture as well as any preparatory work you need to resolve gum disease, tooth decay, or other issues before your implants. However, basic dental insurance may consider dental implants as a cosmetic procedure and not offer coverage. At any rate, our Troy practice will work with you to maximize the benefits available to you.
How do I take care of my dentures after dental implant surgery?
With ESTEEM All-On-X dental implants, the days of having to remove and soak your dentures are over! Maintaining these implant-supported dentures is no more difficult than looking after your natural teeth. Brush your replacement teeth twice a day, floss daily, and make sure to visit your dentist at least twice a year to check on the health of your teeth and gums.All-On-4 vs. All-On-X What’s the Difference?
Both All-On-4 and All-On-X implants are excellent alternatives to traditional dentures. The most notable distinction between the All-On-4 and All-On-X methods is the number of implants used.
All-On-4 implants use four implants placed at specific locations in the jawbone. However, when a dentist feels that fewer — or more — implants would give a patient a better outcome, they may suggest All-On-X.
Unlike All-On-4, All-On-X accounts for the patient’s particular needs and oral health to help inform the recommended number of implants.
Our experienced dentists in Troy can determine whether you are a good candidate for All-On-4 or All-On-X dental implants. With us, you can rest assured you’ll receive a personalized approach that puts your restoration goals, jaw structure, and dental health at large front and center.
