Dr. Whalen obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He was in the top 5 percent of his class.Residency
David Whalen, DDS, went on to train under oral surgeons, periodontists, and prosthodontists during his residency in Hospital Dentistry as the San Francisco VA Medical Center.
Sedation Training
Dr. Whalen earned his certification in IV sedation at the St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in New Jersey.
American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry
David Whalen DDS, is an Accredited Member of the AACD which represents his pursuit for excellence in cosmetic dentistry. The rigorous process requires mastery in a wide variety of dental esthetics and as a result there are less than 430 dentists in the world who have achieved this accolade.
