View on GoogleWhat Is a Smile Makeover?
A smile makeover combines multiple cosmetic dentistry procedures to treat complicated aesthetic problems affecting the teeth and gums. Using a customized treatment plan, a dentist can completely rejuvenate your smile.
How Much Does It Cost?
Smile makeovers are fully personalized to the patient, so there is no set cost for the procedure. During your consultation, we will assess your situation and develop a custom treatment plan with you. We can provide a price breakdown, discuss potential insurance coverage, and go over financing options through CareCredit and LendingClub.
How Long Does It Take?
Much like the cost, there is no set timeline for a smile makeover. The duration of treatment depends on the procedures performed. If your smile makeover involves porcelain veneers and bonding, it may be completed within a month. For smile makeovers that require dental implants or Invisalign®, treatment can take several months or longer.
Common Smile Makeover Procedures
A smile makeover can vary greatly from patient to patient. There are several procedures that are commonly combined to achieve the smile of your dreams.
Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers are thin shells that fit over the front surface of a tooth. With a veneer in place, chips, cracks, stains, gaps, and other dental flaws are instantly masked from view.
Teeth Whitening
A brighter smile is a common goal during a smile makeover. This can be achieved with in-office teeth whitening treatments. One session can lighten a smile by several shades.
Invisalign
Clear Invisalign® aligners are an alternative to traditional orthodontics and metal braces. The clear plastic aligner trays can can correct minor crowding and gaps between teeth.
Cosmetic Bonding
Also known as dental bonding, cosmetic bonding involves the application of an advanced dental resin to a tooth. The bonding material conceals stains, cracks, and other common flaws.
Dental Crowns
A tooth that is badly damaged by decay or trauma can be restored using a porcelain dental crown. These durable caps are crafted so they are indistinguishable from your natural teeth.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are artificial tooth roots that are surgically embedded into the jawbone and gum tissue. Implants can support crowns, bridges, or dentures to fill the gaps left by missing teeth.
