Kara – Veneers and Crowns

KARA: I was looking for a new dentist and actually saw their ads in one of the magazines, one of the local magazines, so I was impressed with the fact that they had won national awards, and I knew that I obviously wanted to choose a dentist that did excellent work, and to me, that was just--it gave them more credibility and made me feel like they were really good at what they did. I came in just for regular dental work, but I had had a lot of dental work done in the past. I had a lot of big older fillings that--and I had some crowns that maybe needed to be replaced. He did a lot of work in terms of crowns for me, so that's where I ended up. I ended up with a whole new set of teeth. Not really what I expected coming in, but you know, based on all the work that I had done, it was really necessary, and I appreciate them looking out for my best interests. On my actual wedding day, I actually had my temporary teeth that Dr. Goldin had created for me, and I actually had my temporaries on my wedding day, and I have to tell you, they were absolutely beautiful. I mean, he really is a true artist at what he does, and so they weren't even the final set, but even the temporaries were absolutely gorgeous. The staff here is wonderful. They're so friendly, and they make you feel really comfortable. The minute you walk in, just put you at ease, from the dental hygienists to the people that work the front desk. I was coming into the dental office for a procedure that I felt particularly stressful about, and when I came into the office, I was actually crying, and Robbie took me into a room and sat me down and dimmed the lights and literally sat next to me and held my hand for 15 or 20 minutes until my procedure. I would call that above and beyond. Often, I will get compliments on my smile. People say wow, you have a great smile or wow, you have really beautiful teeth. I mean, in my business--I'm in marketing, so first impressions are very important. I've had great reactions from friends, family, people that don't even know me, so it's been great.
